Piece of crap III's?

I've never been a fan of pcIII's but I just had to get one for my R1. Well I've had problems from day one.

Anyway, I disconnected the pcIII about a month ago when the bike started running very rich. I did leave the pc connected to the battery though. Now I have decided to try some different maps so I hooked the pcIII back up and the bike will not start. I disconnect and the bike starts. I reconnect and the bike does not start. I'm sure you get the picture.

Anyone have any expierence with this piece of crap III's?qwer

When you say the bike won't start, is it turning over and just not firing, or is it totally dead?

I've had the same problem on a zx-12 at the shop .. we have replaced the pc III with a new one twice and always the same problems develop .... what hunks of crap ...

I had one on my Aprilia for a year and a half with a custom map loaded from Raganits here in Houma. After about 15 months the bike started running EXTREMELY rich and it would jump from closed throttle straight to 20% open so it was impossible to ride less than 15-20mph without slipping the clutch. I ripped out the PCIII everything returned to stock and I've enjoyed the bike since.

Although, I also had one on my TL1000S for three years and it's worked perfectly with a factory map for the mods I had.
