Just purchased a new Yamaha XT225. 600 miles came real quick. Bike is in need of a valve adjustment and oil change. I have the cold valve clearance specs, see how to access the valve adjusters, and have adjusted solid lift valve trains on air cooled Porsche's and VW's since the mid 80's. What I need a shortcut to is in finding TDC. Is there a service plug on the case somewhere that can be removed to view the flywheel or some rotating part that will indicate TDC? I keep reading about a "T" or three dashed lines on some rotational part, but have yet to find out where I can find that. Any help?
