Dual Sport Las Vegas

Me and the wife are going on our yearly Las Vegas vacation in October. We are going to fly in on a Thursday morning and fly back home on the following Monday night. We were thinking about renting some bikes and spending a few days up in the mountains north of Vegas. It's Dual Sport Paradise and the desert is a beautiful place to to see on a motorcycle.

I mentioned it to a few of you guys and everyone wanted more details. Nick what part of the October will you be off the rig? lance, what is good for you? Anybody else post up. We can work the details out around anyone who wants to go.

My schedule in Oct is limited but I could make it if I know the dates early enough. Right now I am open from Oct 1-12th and from the 16th- 22nd. Hurry and set the dates.

Lance anyway you can make it Oct 11th thru the 15th? The kids will be gone that week. It is so much easier for us to get out when the kids are away........

It would probably be better if one person books for everybody. I will do the booking but need the non-refundable cash up front. I normally book with expedia. I get my air fare, hotel, show tix, tour packages everything from them.

Where do you guys want to stay? My choice would be somewhere in the middle of the strip. The Paris, Aladdin, Treasure island?

Stayed at Treasure Island last year. I wasn't really impressed...I vote for the Mirage. There is a tram/shuttle that connects the Mirage and TI together. Takes about 20 secs. Anywheres is good for us.

we have a big trip planned to seattle/san francisco/los angeles this spring, but nothings booked yet so maybe i can get him to hold off til next year for that...

I've stayed in the Aladdin before, it was really nice. But I don't care where we stay, but somewhere on the strip would be great!!
I have a good friend who's a travel agent, if u want I can check w/ her to see what kind of a deal she can get us. It wouldn't hurt to check. That's up to u though.
Is there a certain airline perfered by y'all?? I've only flown Delta & Southwest, I dk much about the others.
Unless some major mishap happens around the time we go, I'm going.
Maybe someone else single will go so I won't feel like the one tagging along w/ all the cpls. As long as the single person knows, I'm willing to help them find some booty there, just not help them find my booty there!

Me and Nicole stayed at The Aladdin last October. We really enjoyed it. The only problem was there were not enough places to eat inside the Hotel/Casino. After you had PF Chang's and commanders Palace there was nothing else to eat.

I defiantly want to be in that general area. The center of the strip is the place to be, Cab fares and walking everywhere is a bitch.

Me and Nicole was considering the Paris? Nicole has a free voucher so we will be flying American airlines. We have plenty time. I'm not going to book our room until about June.

Not right now. I may be able later in the year, but as of right now I have coverage at work that weekend. The closer we get to Oct. the less openings I'll have to move around. Pick a date and we'll see if we can make it...
