We are going trail riding in the Fork Polk area on Friday June 9th and camping out that night then riding a little bit and coming home Saturday for prior planned events. It's one of the trails that just opened up about a month ago.
Any body wants to come post up.

All you are doing is telling me reason to go... When you wake up Saturday morning you'll be less than an hour away from LC.

Not to mention my niece is in from New Mexico, so I need to go see her. I have a bad uncle vibe going. And I might take Friday off so I can go to the DMV and change my address and do all that stuff. I can go on and on, just not a good weekend for me to go play in the dirt.... although I would rather be doing that.

We are meeting at the Exxon on Hwy 413 at the interstate for 5:30 AM for those that are coming. Should be about a 230 mile trip to get there.

Check out the Kisatchie Bayou Camp Site while you are there. It's a rocky stream that's fun to cool off in when the water is high. I was there 3 weeks ago but the water was way low. http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/kisatchie/kisatchie-rd/day-group/kisatchie-bayou.htm

Bayou Camp was nice we went swimming. We camped at the Lotus Camp because we were the only ones there. The Sand Stone trail mostly SUCKED we bailed and went to Enduro the second day. Stand Stone had deep 4 wheeler grooves and lots and lots of deep soft sand. I wrecked in the mud, Hunter wrecked in the sand about 8 times, and Kit wrecked in the gravel. Two mirrors, a clutch lever, a foot peg, and a shift lever all giving as offering to the crash gods.
Camping was great!!! We had a really good time.

It is one of the best places to camp but the sand is a bitch. Next time you venture North, you should check out Camp Livingston. (12 miles North of Alex. on Hwy 165) It's my favorite area to dual-sport - http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/kisatchie/catahoula-rd/trails/camp-livingston.htm
Cross country travel is still allowed. You can ride anywhere you want, trail or no trail (at least until next year).

yes, yes it is... After watching me plow through the puddle he got inspired.
Prior to this he did say, "I'm going to rape mother nature! Nothing can stop this klr." I told him that after saying that he had to stay at least 20 yards away from me at all times.
His foot peg fell off on the way home too, which made laugh so hard I had tears in my eyes.
