Monkeys_love and I are planning to take a ride to the Mississippi Gulf Coast for dinner. They have a kick butt seafood buffet on the Back Bay at the Boomtown Casino. We will probably hit a casino or two after dinner. Ride time estimated about 2:00 pm should be back home around midnight. post up if you are interested.

We will all be nursing a hangover from the night before, but if it involves riding our bikes, I'm down for it.......

I just got back from that way. I took the beach road from Bay St. Louis to Ocean Springs. Bring your camera. Your kids wont believe it. There is a church in Biloxi that is totally wiped out and there was a wedding taking place there.

Juice,
We can run to Covington and then get off and take Old Spanish trail to the coast if that route is still open..

Sounds like fun, but I have other plans for the 24th. B.&b
My dad has had to go a few times in the past month for work, he says it's unbelievable!!
My children's Great Aunt on their dad's side, had a 2 story Annabella Mainson across the street from the beach, nothing at all left of the house, except the concrete it stood on. The guesthouse survived, b/c the Mainson protected it & took the blow, the pool is just there, empty.
Friends of a friend (they owned the oceanarium) their 2 story Mainson is completely gone, as well as the beach houses of some of my other friends.
So I agree, bring a camera!!

Nick, Hwy 90 is still closed near Long Beach, not sure that route will work. I have been there twice to see a customer of mine and it might be several more months until the roads are fixed. We might have to get off at the Gulf Port exit. It seems to be the best route. 90 is open from Gulf Port to past the Beau Rivage.

we were able to get off the interstate at DeLisle/Pass Christian and make it to Hwy 90... If u guys go that way, you'll get off the interstate a little faster and might prefer it to taking Hwy 49....

I think the only two casinos open are the Boomtown and the Imperial Palace.
