Not much of a report just a few pictures from our adventure to the Mississippi Gulf coast. We left Baton Rouge seeking good times, crab legs, and some casino play. But we had to settle for pizza, a few cheeseburgers and a bad case of Monkey Butt. Man It pissed on us the entire ride home.

After almost a year it still looks like a frigging war-zone. There is not one single house left standing. I was told that all of the residential property along the beach has all been bought up by the casino's. They got to make room for the new Land based casino's that are opening in 2008

The Hard Rock Hotel never saw a single guest thanks to Katrina. It missed it's Grand Opening by less then a week. It is scheduled to re-open in September of this year.

Those pics come my way with a heavy heart. I have spent a many weekends chasing girls and laying on that beach. It doesn't even look like the same place...... God be with those people that lost everything.........

Good job on the report and pictures man! Sorry I couldn't make it but I'll be there for the ride next month. Even with the pouring rain, it's still hard to beat riding with friends.

Looks like ya'll had a wonderful time. I havn't been down the srtip in quite some time. I can't believe it doesn't look any better. It hurts to see the pictures and to go to the coast. I had a camp 3 blocks off the beach. Now I can see the Gulf from my lot with my pink bed sheets in the pine tree 30' up. :(
