Is anyone thinking about going with the advrider's and HU guys to Mexico in October?
I wouldn't mind going, but it doesn't look like any of my regular buds are up for this one.

I was going to make this, but with the possibility of being offshore still looming in the air, I'm refraining from dedicating to another trip. Riding out to vegas two weeks before is just going to take too much to recoup from with only 1 day at the house in between trips due to my schedule as of right now. I'm not sure if Bayou Boy is still planning on going, but there's so many people who are, I'm sure it would be easy to meet up with some there in Texas.

I've already put in for the vacation time, I still have to do all the paperwork B.S. (so far I've only got a passport) and get some sidebags for my bike before I am 100% commited, but as of right now I'm about 90% sure I'm doing this one.
My plan was to trailer the bike to somewhere in W. Texas (I belive someone else here said they'd leave their truck/trailer at Terilingra Ranch in TX) and then ride in to Mexico.

Man... Don't tell me these things. Just this weekend I had resolved to doing the TransAm trail with a group in Sept. instead of Mexico. I think my wife is going to be the deciding factor here.
I also messed up and told the KLR treated me better than she did when I got home on Sunday.

Hey,
Haven't checked in around here in months. The site has really grown thanks to participation from all. Good job. Back to subject......if you can make it to Mexico for the meeting and some local riding, by all means do it. Some of us from Lafayette did it two years ago and some riding in Copper Canyon during the days after the meeting. Need advice, pics or just kick the idea around? Call or email.
