We've had enough rain and the Lincoln National Forest has reopened. So K2 and I got up early and rode from the foot hills to the mountain tops.

K2 on a about a 2000ft. cliff above Alamogordo. White Sands visible in the distance.

Back up on the mountain we stopped in some high meadows to enjoy the fresh air. The smell of the tree's was awesome..

I saw the coast 2 coast page, but not sure what the list is. This will be my second year going out west to meet up with the west coast members of the FZ1 Owner's Association. Last year we met in Tahoe and worked our way over to the coast. Did Hwy 36, the Lost Coast, PCH, etc. Had so much fun I have to do it again this year. Doing Yellowstone and Glacier on the way out, then meeting the others in Portland. Plan to see Bryce and Zion, briefly, on the way back and ride Hwy 191 in AZ. I didn't allow as much time this year though, so my itinerary is subject to change.

Next year I'll allow two full work weeks, so that'll be 16 days I'll have available.

Just great. Heading to CA in August. Gonna spend about 5 days working my way up the state with some FZ1 owners, and then 4 of us are going to spend a few days exploring southern Utah. Can't wait.
