4th of July - Slippery when Wet - Ride Report

KTM 950 Adventure showed up at my house this morning at 7am for an early roll out. Of course he was early and I was in the shower so after a couple cups off coffee (diet cokes for me) we were off at 7:30.

First Stop: TickFaw Marina (I had never been there before ... hella cool)

I expected activity on the 4th, however, it was still hella early .. I only saw 3 boats actually on the water ....

We then stopped at a Cemetery in Springfield. 950 was going to show me a grave marker that had a story on it and was featured on TV but we couldn't find it.

950 furiously searching!!! (I didn't mind that we didn't find it .. I got to have another smoke and take a few pictures)

We then stopped for a coke and a smoke!!!!

Last stop before the weather turned! A real nice boat launch area. I Forget the name of it ..

Then it rained and rained and rained some more. The last 40 miles of the day were very WET!!!!

We put 148.6 miles on the odo's!

Arriving home very wet and very happy!!!!

Passed you this morning going to meet at Brians house, I wanted to go follow you to. But I figured it was a private ride. I did about 240 today, striaghtened out a curve and killed some trees.... KLR down one winshield..... Victory was ours!

950 is Old School ... he doesn't own a computer ... we actually use the "phone" to set up rides :) :) :)

I was like "fugg!!! Where is Kevin going"

I almost called Juice this morning too to see if he wanted to go riding .. but 950 showed up early and I was running late so I forgot about it!!!
