Would like to go riding... Would like to ride some crap roads and gravel if possible, but also might head up to Alexandria and ride Hwy 126 if interested parties arise.

Hwy 126 is nice, Deal's Gap kind of nice, and they just paved it last year so it's real nice for sport bikes. It is just short, but HEY so is the gap and 126 isn't 600 miles away. They have tons of gravel in the area too.

Kevin you are welcome to come and we'll even throw in one free tank of gas. Kit is band from riding his KLR until after some cop bike thingie mid month. He crashed it in the wet while wearing flip-flops. He is avioding me so I don't know how bad it is.

It just wouldn't be a ride if I don't have someone laying in the dirt to take pictures of...

Oh so everyone is assuming that if I go along I will eat it for the enjoyment of the group? Whoa, don't I feel special. I would like to Ken, but I am going to be busy entertianing the future wife. Thanks for the invide and the offer.

126 is a blast, especially on the South end, although the asphalt is better the further North you go. IMO, the roads in and around STF and Jackson are almost as good. Maybe 126 has a few more hard turns on the South end. The main difference is you have a lot more gravel roads near 126. South of there, hwy 123 is pretty good.

I will be in Alexandria this weekend visiting with my Father. If you decide to go, I might be interested (send me a PM).

Will do. The elevation changes on 126 are more dramatic on 126. I think that adds all the fun to it.

Anyone riding at the Spillway on Sunday? I haven't been on the bike in a while so I need to start off semi-easy before hitting the tracks or trails.
