I've had a subscription to Cycle World since I started riding in '94, but I decided not to re-up. I became rather disappointed with the way they dove into the chopper nation craze and started to devote most of their pages to hideous looking and unridable crap. Then in the letters section, they started to berate readers who wrote in and disapproved. You get the idea.
Anyway, today I received my final issue, which was wrapped in the obligatory bright red cover warning me it was my last issue. They also tried to make me feel special and offered me the big renewal discount: 12 issues for 12 bucks. On a hunch, I checked the rate on the new subscription cards that always fall out of the magazine when you open it. Sure enough, those offered 12 issues for only 10 bucks...
Ted you should start your own mag.........
