Ok, I'm starting to get a little excited now. I think I might have everything figured out to get my bike going again(at least i hope i do), and almost have it back together for the street. Just waiting for a wiring harness to come in. Gonna get a new tank, but I'll put the "tank from hell" back on just to make sure it runs. Oh, I'll be so happy to get it running again.
Looking forward to doing some street rides w/ everybody finally!

I'm ready to get a little more seat time on the tarmac myself. Man this crazy weather sure has put a damper on my sport riding. Spring is almost here.
Where did you get the harness from? When is it do arrive?

What is this mysterious Street riding you talk about? LOL, yeah I am going to miss my rocket this spring. But oh well, bring on the dirt! Joey, need to get it going, and then get you a KLR :)

Getting it off ebay. Should be here this week, or early next week. It's just a small section. Wasn't to happy that I had to get it though. My engine temp wasn't showing(digital), and when checking into it, I found the wire going to that sensor clipped at the plug, and a couple inches missing from the wire(didn't even reach plug anymore). Still can't figure out wtf the deal is w/ that. Nobody had worked on my bike before it went out, and it's not accessible unless the tank is off. ??? Oh well.
Gotta get on the road asap though! The little lady is getting antsy for a ride! :D

Goodie goodie goodie. lol. Just got back from the post office, and the harness came in. I want to go put it on right now(it's 11:30pm) but guess I"ll wait till I get off work tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing is fouled up in the engine. I'm gonna let the battery charge while I'm at work tomorrow, and get some gas and hope it cranks up. I"ll be so happy if it does!!
Just in case though, does anybody recommend a shop or mechanic to bring it to. I"m tired of screwing w/ this thing myself, and if it doesn't get going this time, I'm bringing it to somebody. I can get the obvious stuff, but don't know actual engine problem diagnosing/work.
Please somebody recommend something, I've been hearing how he was getting it on the street for more than 5 mos now!!

I know you're tired of hearing it, hun. :(
The harness is on, and the battery still needs more charging, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that tomorrow I can post some good news about it! :)
