There just isn;t much dirt around. Plenty of good gravel and crappy blacktop,
A few watercrossings great scenery and exploring. I used to spend all my spare time woods ridding back in the early 70's but in the 80's the Hunting Leases started clossing all the land. I have thought of joining hunting clubs to ride off season but they don;t allow motorcycles at anytime(4 wheelers ok)

Can't promise good dirt only good riding.

Myself and CapoLee will probably end up goofing off at and around the Bonnie Carrie spillway. I need to be in Covington on Saturday around 1:00 so I can't afford to ride all day.

Let's plan to go camping around Fort Polk and we can do all the hardcore dirt you like. We have a couple of guys that enjoy the dirt on heavy pigs that have been bugging me to go. About the only requirement is LSU has to play away, a couple guys have to work if they play home.

It looks like the best place for us to meet up is in Covington. I've got directions and the route to Weave's marked out from there. If you can't leave B.R. till 8 Juice, then how about we meet up at the McDonalds at the split in Covington around 9? You should be able to superslab it across 12 in an hour huh?

I thought 190 WAS causeway, but yea. The McD's in the split just before 21 shoots off. I'm going to roll into Covington around 8:30 to fill up and grab a bite to eat, so I'll meet ya'll there. I may be in the truck with the bike and the 4 wheeler so I can head up to the lease this weekend to do some pre-season work.

Thanks for the tour Buddy. I had a blast. Wally, Duke and Myself got into a few excavation project's north of Folsom. We and this old timer ended up clearing the roads where there were some down trees. Man, there must to have been some bad weather that had moved out just before our arrival. We caught the tail end of the storm and I welcomed it with open arms. It was just enough to cool us off.

It was nice to finally meet you Duke. Boy that Wally was a Character. Me missed you Longhorn and JayD.......Wish you guys could have made it.

Whew....I'm JUST walking in the house after this ride!! It's been one hell of a couple days. The heat that we didn't expect yesterday turned into a sleepless night in the woods cause it was just too damn hot and muggy. Neffystl and I ended up doing another 250 miles today along some of the backroads to Jackson and back to Columbia. Great weather for riding and after some 120mph stretches of highway, I think the TKC's are officially burned up. I'll post up the pictures that I got once I dig the camera out of the truck tomorrow.

I had a great time! It was nice finally meeting Juice and Ted. I got my new tire mounted up today, valves adjusted and a good cleaning. Ready to do it again. Weave those roads are awesome, I can't wait to ride up there again.

I chomped up 400 miles on Saturday with Weave and gang, back roads,gravel and some rain. I do not have one single bad thing to say about the STROM. I think I made the right choice with the purchase.
