Well stopped by the friendly people and Light Speed Motorcycles in Gonzales today.... Since Juice got the 1000 I planned on getting.... and after much thought...... I broke down and bought this lil bugga today....

I was reading Bike recently and they stated a German and Italian magazine (i forgot the names) voted the DL650 the best all round bike on the market bar none

I don't want to do any more lot clearing with this lil fella though. But I think the comfort will be greater than I had on the KLR and it should have a bit more power then the single on the KLR as well. I am ready to ride.

Yeah we can't all afford BMW's.... not to say I won't ever own one. I just don't think I was ready to shell out that kinda cheese on a bike. I am quite frugal if you know what I mean.

I went to pick it up yesterday, smashed my thumb in the door gettin out my truck. Then I walk in and that pretty lil blue bitch was sitting in the same spot. Apparently there was a break down in communication and it wasn't ready. So I told them I will get it Monday evening. I don't know if I will be back in town tomorrow to pick it up.
