I have heard so many different stories to go with those pictures. I do not know what to believe. I'm glad to hear that she is doing well...

Dumb girl is still not wearing the proper gear. Jeans and a light little jacket! If feel sorry for her once, but when she crashes again, I won't! Put on some better gear girl...........

Wow. My girlfriend hates wearing her gear. I am going to show her this and buy her a new jacket that she won't mind wearing.

Of course, she will only ride with me if I am on the Goldwing, so she is a littel more protected than on the back of a sportbike.

The secret is just finding her a jacket she likes... and it doesnt matter if your on a goldwing or a busa or a klr... if you are on 2 wheels you can still hit the concrete... and it aint pretty when you do...

Yea, I hear you. I was just saying that she cannot fall off of the back of the wing like this girl did.

My problem with finding my girlfriend a jacket is she doesn't like the size she has to get. I have tried several times to get her to let me buy her one with the cost not being an issue, but when she tries them on she doesn't like them. I did finally get her to get a summer mesh jacket, but now I need to get her into a winter jacket as well.

She got hit head-on in her car Thursday by a truck passing on a double yellow line. The airbags and seatbelt saved her. Maybe she will be more appreciative of the protective gear now.

Then she has absolutely no idea what "safety" means and she obviously doesn't care about her skin! You need to show her that story and school her a little bit! Orrrr, you could put the smack down and tell her unless she wears gear, she can't go ride....

Let me know what size you need or to try one. We got several jackets in several sizes. Jules went thru hell to get the right fitting jacket!

As someone who studies human behavior for a living, I can tell you that it has nothing to do with either of those things. But I hear you. I should lay down the law.
I am affraid to show her those pictures because I don't want her to be affraid to ride. She is fairly new to it anyway. Don't want to scare her off.

I should have bought the goldwing with the airbag :)

Agreed. I tried to get her a Joe Rocket, but the arms were too long for her. Most of the ladies jackets are too small for her, so she is stuck with the guys jackets. They don't seem to fit her well. The only kind we haven't tried is the BMW jackets. They are expensive, but if she will wear one...

Not what I intended to do, but atleast I didn't buy her all new riding gear like I was about to..... oh well... carry on

you can always go to wilsons leather or something in the mall and buy a leather jacket as long as its thick enough (not that super thin fasionable stuff) and have her wear a back protector under it too? (not the safest thing in the world as motorcycle ones usually have double reinforced seems and elbow/back/shoulder protectors too but I'd think with a back protector and thick leather jacket you'd still be doin better then most riders around here are... if ya know what I mean...
