I will tell you what? Why dont you put your money where you mouth is? Wednesday night test & Tune at no problem? Through the 1/4 mile? or Next track day @ no Problem loser pays the winners entry fee?

Ritten

Sounds like the typical S.D.S. response to being owned. I don't believe my mouth ever spoke any words about being faster on the track since that has almost everything to do with the rider and little to do with the bike. HOWEVER, if you want to compare bikes then I see that I have a BLACK JESSE TOP BOX sitting in my workshop for use on the GS anytime I need. I guess in all of their marketing wisdom Jesse Luggage Inc. researched and discovered which bike was superior to all the rest and decided to focus on making a quality product to supply the demand of a public who demands the best.

Looks like you and Kevin will just have to wait for our sloppy seconds.

Put 18,000 miles on your bike in a year AND still consider it the best one you've bought....and I'll be the first to pay your entry fee to a test and tune night at NPR to run against you good buddy.

I have never put much thought or faith into any of the 50+ motorcycles I have owned over the past 20 years. For me the motorcycle is a tool not the essential. It’s just a mechanical object of paint and molded steel. It’s the person that pilots the machine that makes it stand out from the rest.

Ted,
You forget that by the end of this year I'll be well over 18,000 for the year.qwer

And on a Strom no doubt.
Let me know when this Drag contest is so I can smoke them TKCs.Cool12

BTW Bonnie and I may be going to Mexico for a quick trip for Thanksgiving.
Bike in the Sprinter to Laredo. 2 days to Real. 2 days back to the border. Back home.:)

I'm just waiting for a set of USED Jesse's.

Jesse has the new "Safari" line out for BMW that will accomodate a full size helmet. I'm sure someone will buy those and sell the Jesse's..

I would choose my drz 650 over any bike on the market. Why you ask? Because it suits my needs? The GS doesn’t fit my needs neither does the Strom. Its personal preference and suitability. I just don’t get it why all the BMW guys think that they are better then everyone else?

Juice
10-09-2006, 10:39 AM
suitability? Is that even a word?

Ritten

Don't worry Rocky, it's just a joke. Juice could probably run circles around me on the track, in the dirt, and most likely on the trails and I'll be the first to admit it. When it comes to dishing out alot of BS, us BWM guys usually take the cake though.

O and Rock Just so you know Ted is one fine Outstanding human being that would not put down anyone. Except his close friends...... So if you are ever insulted by Ted consider that a privilege and honer.

Now that's just not true. It's just that nobody can hear me through my helmet when I get cut off or run off the road while on the bike.
