An Alabama law enforcement agent was killed Sunday morning after wrecking his motorcycle.
The wreck happened on I-12 eastbound, just before the Denham Springs exit.
Denham Springs police sergeant James Edwards says 45-year-old Joseph Hill was riding with a group of law enforcement agents, on their way home to Alabama.
The drivers he was with, say Hill's motorcycle began to swerve and when he tried to correct it, he lost control.
Hill and his bike flipped several times in the median.
Edwards believes a flat tire may have caused the acccident.
Hill pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic was backed up on I-12 for miles in both directions.
