Any one interested in joining CapoLee and I at and around the Bonne Carrie spillway this weekend? I'll be on my DRZ400 and He'll be riding his KLX250.

If I was home I'd go out there and chase you guys on the quad, but alas......I'm stuck in the tuna can.

Thats better than being stuck ON the can!!!
Let me know when you can go out there and I am sure I'll be able to swing it.

I've got a line on selling the Aprilia here pretty soon and if that happens then I'll be eyeing down something alot more dirt worthy than the GS to add to the stable. I'm sure I'll be out there pretty often working on getting my skills up to par with my sense of adventure.

Good luck on the Aprilia and I look forward to future off-road adventures.

I went over to the spillway Sunday around noon for a couple hours. Area 2 was still closed Thumbs Down and the regular ATV area is pretty whooped out from all the damn Quads. Why people take heavy ass utility quads out there is beyond me
Area 2 was semi-decent when I rode it back in May(?) it was closed in August and I don't think it's reopened since qwer
I think I'm going to have to start doing some exploring and finding some better off road places. Riding a 325# bike over nothing but whoops is more work than it is fun.

I agree DukeRyder. The spillway has gone to shit!!! CapoLee and I were there from approx. 10 am until 11:30 and it pretty much sucked. We need to go to Forrest Hills and the LA dunes soon.
