ok, so maybe i'm late jumping on this bandwagon. i picked up a copy of the DVD a couple of days ago. i figured with the cold weather, watching a movie about riding would be enjoyable. besides, i wanted to see what all the hype on other DS boards was about. i haven't watched all the episodes yet, but i'm hooked. i thought it would be cool to watch this and see some new scenery, but now i'm hooked on the story line. seeing some of what these guys went through is pretty cool.
have any of y'all seen the episodes? any thoughts?
Jaime, i want to watch it after you are thru

How many episodes? I caught several, Kept my attention. Herd criticisims of loading bikes on trucks ect. I saw no choice, time in play. Interesting history and people. Food? Some looked fabulous, some yuckeypoo. Bowls of various sized testicles? No thanks..
I'd watch it all again!

jayd, i'll get it to you this weekend.
scooter, the dvd set i have has seven episodes. i've read somewhere that there are ten episodes, but i can't confirm that. none the less, the seven epidsodes do give you a good story line. you are right, some of the food they tried didn't look too appealing. i got more caught up in how tough it was to get the fully loaded bikes through some of that terrain.

Oh man you said it. Some of those water and bridge(?) crossings. Whew!
Some of the truck crossings were interesting also.
