Well, after spending almost a year with my Jesses and the stock can rubbing a hole in them, I finally decided to go ahead and spend the money on a new, lighter, THINNER, and freakin schweeeeeet sounding pipe. A brand new one of these is on it's way to the house...Cool12

Well its official, now you can't get your big dirty. That pipe is too pretty (and expensive) to get dirty!
Congrats

Beeeeeeyochhh.....puuhhleeeeeeeeeeesssss
Nick, tell Jules that I'll PM her the link when I get out to the lab later tonight. Actually, at $527 shipped to my front door the Akra is cheaper than the Staintune! The full system with the over-and-unders will run you $1500 though.

I finally called up the place today to see why I haven't gotten a shipped email or why my CC hasn't been charged yet, and they inform me that the Akras are on backorder till after the first of the year.Head Bang Head Bang Head Bang
Thanks for letting me know.....bastards!! Soooo, now I guess I'll try my luck and see how the availability is on Garmin products instead.
Well, at least they didn't send you the wrong can. I ordered a Leo Vince for my GS. It arrived and I slapped it right on without much thought. Looks nice and fits under the Happy-Trails perfectly.
I took it for a spin, and holy sheet it was loud!! Those nice popping sounds you get when you roll off the throttle or down shift turned into little neighborhood rattling explosions. I checked out the part numbers and took a closer look, and I have the race version instead of the street version. Needless to say, it is a blast to play around with, but too loud for daily use, and down right annoying for touring.
The stocker is back on until I get the street version ---- on backorder of course!

So does that mean there is a Zumo in your future?

Most likely I'll keep it to use as a backup or on the 4 wheeler/future dirtbike.

Excellent choice! Are you going to get the weather service?
It is going to be seriously hard to tell our bikes apart pretty soon. I put on some TT handlebar risers tonight. You don't already have those do you?
Eventually we are going to have to get together and ride.

Ya damn skippy!! XM weather and radio.
Yea, I have the 50mm risers that really helped to put the bars in a better position for me when I stand up. When you get back from Chicago let me know, perhaps we can put together a ride during the week or the following weekend on the 10th.

The 10th is good for me. Ted, why don't we ride up half way and met him, say around Port Gibson? We can go tour the old military park at Grand Guld and I can run you on about 20 miles of gravel road and go by the old Rodney church and Windsor ruins???
