I need some input from the crew. Looks like Santa Claus may be bringing me some riding boots. Looking for something in the $100 to $150 range. I already have a pair of Dirt only boots and want a pair of good street or dualsport. Its not like you go down to PayLess Shoes and try them on. Looking at JR Sonic or similar .... any ideas or suggestions.

I picked up some Tourmasters at Heberts BMW 2 months ago
They have been waterproof and comfortable so far in all conditions
I believe they were 120.00
at this point they are recommended

The JR Sonics are good-looking boots. I like the Aplinestars Roam Boots. (Priced around $125-135). I got a pair of A's Ridge Boots & always have dry socks! They're like the Roams but not as tall.

I've worn my Oxtar Matrix for every ride I've been on in the past year and a half. I'll hike, walk, and do anything in them I would in regular tennis shoes. Super comfortable and waterproof.

What size do you wear? I have a pair of SIDI race boots that are in brand new condition but are to narrow on my feet. I'll make you are good deal if this is what you are looking for. They have the replacable toe, ankle and shin sliders.

+1. You cannot beat Alpinestars for boots. I have a pair of their motocross boots and touring boots. There is a reason the pros wear them.

I've got the Alpine Star Ridge boot. I love them. Made a 300 mile ride in the pouring down rain and feet stayed dry.
Here ya go.

+1 Props for the Alpine Ridge. The wife and I both have the same boot.

it all depends honestly on what kinda boot you want... I mean for just general street riding any leather midhigh boot will work (or even full height)... I had some ridge police boots on my first wreck and it didnt scuff very far into the leather... and they are padded... but the best looking boot I think right now is the Icon "Super Duty 2" Boot and the Icon "Field Armor Chukka" Boot those are both low cut and the icon "Field Armor" Boot (the non Chukka) is a half high boot... all 3 are inexpensive and if you are interested talk to Mark at Friendly and they can get you a real good price on some....
