Ugh. Been trying to file my taxes(e-file). Although this was a very simple thing to do, my computer has been crapping out on me lately, so it's taken me the past two nights to do probably 10-20 min worth of stuff. Felt good to finally hit finish before this pos went out again. Not to mention it's been taking forever to read the boards, b/c it keeps freezing up while trying to switch pages.
I don't know what this damn things problem is, but it's been acting up the past week or so. I think I'm gonna go digging around to try to find what the hell is wrong. So if y'all don't see me on here in a while, I probably fubar'd the comp. LOL!

I have been having problems with the forums Joey. My Host sucks! As soon as I figure out how to back everything up. I'm going to move to a new host.
Have you had the same problems on other sites or just here?

Having problems on RM too, but seems like just since the upgrade. Here actually isn't as bad as there. I'm wondering if my comp just doesn't agree w/ this version of vbulletin. But, it's pretty much all over the net too. I haven't been anywhere that I think I could've caught something, but it's just been acting strange all of a sudden.
I've had problems w/ RM since the new upgrade, just my computer compared to their upgrade. This is my business computer, personal computer might be different. Of course how would I know, kids have it all screwed up!
Anyway, Ben, God Bless his heart, has tried to do everything to help me, so we have come to the conclusion it's my computer not compatible w/ new site upgrade on RM.
But not having as much problems as Shakey!
Shakey #1 get rid of that sorry ass service u have!! Then get rid of that sorry ass phone u have!!
If it doesn't work, do something to change it to make it work, that simple!!

I had to empty all my cookies and temp files, log back in marking the "remember me" box in order to keep from timing out on this site and RM since the upgrade. Something to do with the old cookies and the new version
I had to do the same thing, but didn't do the remember me. So of course keep getting logged out. Remember me?? So when I go to the site will it log me in automatically?? Cause I don't want to logged in like that. Others can get in ur info. I didn't check it b/c I wasn't sure how it worked & then I'd be stuck there if I didn't like, not knowing how to remove remember me.

Red if i'm not mistaken, if you've clicked "remember me" it will remember you until you manually log out. So when you're done with the computer, or don't want your password saved anymore, hit the log out link below your status...

Well, cleaned off alot of old stuff on my comp, and stuff I didn't recognize, just trying to free up space. Ended up doing a system restore too, and don't know if any of that did it, but so far so good.
Kinda creepy thing happened though, when I called to cancel my current isp(going back to dsl). The chick on the other end was gonna give me the email if I had any other questions, but I misunderstood and started giving my email. I don't know who here has seen "Wedding Crashers", but there's a scene where the chick Vince Vaughn is w/ says something to the effect of "don't leave me b/c I'll find you" in this kinda soft but very psychotic voice. Well the chick on the phone cut me off, and in that same voice said "oh, I have all your info right here. I know everything i need to know....hehe." Wasn't what was said, but the way it was said -followed by the little laugh- that kinda scared me. lol!
