Well this Arkansas thing is turning into a monthly habit - September, then October, now November, and two or more trips planned to the Ozarks between now and February. I just can't get enough.
I set up base camp in Hot Springs Village on Friday and took the scenic route (AR 7, 27, 16, 123, 374) up to Jasper for a late lunch at the Boardwalk Cafe. The quicker route straight down AR7 put me back in the Village in time to watch the last quarter of the LSU/AR game.
Although it started out a little on the cool side for a sport bike ride, it quickly warmed up well into the 70's, and Saturday was even warmer. Not bad for late November.
AR 7 North from Hots Springs Village to Dardanelle was more colorful than the Jasper area where the leaves are gone. There were enough decent roads around Hot Springs to keep me busy for a couple of days but I had my focus on the ultra-twisty, peg-scraping curves further north.

A sign of good things to come on Hwy 16:
