We are in the early stages of trying to plan our annual crawfish boil. The purpose of this thread is to get an estimated number of how many would be interested in attending this year. The boil will take place in late April on a Saturday evening at a local Baton Rouge Restaurant/Bar. There will be live music and all the crawfish you care to eat. If you do not eat crawfish you will be able to purchase food off of the menu. Ticket prices will be in the neighborhood of $15.00 and will go on sale in February.

Please check the appropriate box. The number is imperative, as it will help us determine where the event is held

We could get the “Jimmy Buffet tribute band” again but we would still need to sell a minimum of 30 tickets to cover cost. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Anyone have any music connnections? Please feel free to throw them out there.

Theres a band from here called "No Exit". Our kind of music and sounds good. But the kickers is they are like 16 and 17 years old. Booked them for a party we had and they smoked it. They played festivals and nightclubs out this way and in Thibodaux. Good sound and cheap.

Thanks to Rachel, It looks like we have secured the patio at the Roux house downtown on third street. There will be live music a bar at our disposal and all the crawfish you care to eat. All the parking downtown is metered. However there is a rather large sidewalk in front of the Roux House. I have parked my bike there before but if 15+ bike show up I could see that being a potential problem to the owner. qwer

I usually park at the Hilton, and one of the other large parking lots. You also have the Casino, but thats a little walk.

It was really good to see everyone again! I got there too late for the mudbugs, but that wasn't my intent, anyway (nasty little things....). I did get to sit around with a beer or two, unplug from a clingy universe and let the gab 'n' blab go where it may. Reeeeeeeeelaxing.
