I know that it is last minute, but the wife and I are going to get out for a ride sometime after lunch. Is there anybody that is not to hungover to ride?

Aw hell. Too late for me to get things together and make tracks south.

I just came back in from mounting a new set of tires on Junior's TTR-90 and find out about a coastal walkabout. Shucks!

Think I'm heading up to St. Frannie and parts unknown for the rest of the day.

Whew!!! T'was a great ride today with Juice, Monkey's Love, and DannyT. Nice and nipply this evening during the last hour home and once again, I'm thankful for electric gear. I logged about 250 miles so I know Juice has at least 100 more than that.

340 miles on the clock and we didn't leave the house till 11:30. It is as cold as a mofo on the bayou when the sun goes down.

Here are two pics I shot at Grand Isle State Park.....

How much damage did the park sustain from the storm?

The Pier is gone, but the showers and bathrooms still stand. The beach looked just like it always has. It looks like everything in Grand Isle is back to normal and open for business. About 85% of the camps have been rebuilt. I think the wife and I are going to bring the kids down to fish in the surf before it warms up again.
