Here’s the “Reader’s Digest” version…


Warren Broussard recapped the long list of events MAC participated in during 2006.

This included several MAC Officers and members riding along with RocketMadness members
to the Livingston Courthouse on March 27 to support a local rider
during the trial of the individual who hit him. (God Bless you Thomas!)



MAC is now 297 Members strong since forming in May 2004.
“Celebrity” members include Baton Rouge Mayor Kip Holden, Baton Rouge Police Chief Jeff LeDuff
and LSU Basketball Coach Pokey Chapman.



During 2006, MAC sponsored 18 (eighteen) Billboards with the “Watch For Motorcycles” message.
Lamar Advertising donated the space rental, MAC only had to pay for production materials.
Thank You Lamar!



MAC became a registered Non-prophet (501c3) organization which allows for corporate sponsorship (donations!)



Joe Spearman addressed future plans which include license plates for automobiles
with the MAC logo and the message “WATCH FOR MOTORCYCLES”.
$25 of the $35 fee paid to LA DOTD will be donated to MAC.
(Open to the general public to participate).



A new MAC Chapter is forming in Lafayette, LA



Membership is growing strong in the Hammond area too.



Possible MAC Chapter forming in Hot Springs, Arkansas.



The antique BSA motorcycle that was donated to MAC is undergoing some restoration
and will be featured at future events.



Craig Michelet (the official “Arm Twister” :D ) addressed the need for
increased Volunteer participation.
Everyone can do something!!!



Look for a Community Garage Sale to take place at American Cycle Accessories
All proceeds from donated items to benefit MAC.
