Just got back from a 100 mile loop with my Dirtier KLR.
Didn't do any dirt cept for my road but thought I would post up impression anyway.
Dropped to 14 tooth on the counter sprocket..... way more fun should have done this miles ago, feels much better in the twisty stuff, no problem at 65 mph cruise(true, 70 indicated)

Ims tank filled half way... the fuel is carried lower bike is well balanced.
Renthall 666 bars good choice for me less vibes very comfortable.

Plug in for Gerbings......damn nice, no problem with voltage consumption.

Kendra 270 front and rear, great in the gravel and grass, had no problem hanging with KTM 950 SM thru most turns. Still don't have the confidence in them that I have in the gripsters for street but thats ok its a KLR.

Good job, I just did the opposite on my klr and went to a 16 for the front. Very nice on the hwy (4k@70mph)and I can still pull the front wheel up. Mines getting fitted with anakees in april before I head to WA. Where did you get the renthal 666& do the controls all fit?
