Got back from lunch on Thursday and learned that an officer came by to serve me. A quick look at the Clerk's website indicated that she filed and yes, I was gonna get served and all the rest it means.

So I took some time to donate some property titles and then called the boss and told her I'd be riding my motorcycle all day Friday, which I just concluded.

Oh, I got a Marine Corps haircut from a stylist impersonater at a stinky salon in Covington. The hair will grow back, the marriage? I doubt it.

I just hope I get to keep the GSA.

Hey Man

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I went through it also. One of the hardest things that I ever had to encounter. Do you have representation? ka5ysy on the board is a family law attorney. Maybe he can help you with your situation.

Been though it 3 times myself. It can be rough but you will come out stronger in the end. And remember, there is a biker tradition (I may have started it for all I know) When those final papers come through, it is time for a long cross country road trip!

Just remember that everything happens for a reason. You are excatly where you are suppose to be. Without the bad times there would be no good. Good luck and if you need anything you can holla at me.

You have to be positive and put your faith in the God almighty. When my first marriage failed I thought my world was coming to an end. As time passed new doors began to open. That divorce was the best damn thing that ever happed to me. Man that Bitch was fuggin crazy. WTF was I thinking? And now I sit here with the most beautiful women in the world. And this one loves my bikes. Everything works out for the best in the end. Keep the faith Brother.

This should help a bit also.

How do I check this info online?

She said she filed last September?

Can she divorce me without me ever knowing about it?

FAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Time to sell the bikes to a trusted Bro for a dollar. That way you can split the "profits", she can't take your bikes, and you can buy them back when it is all over with.

Or, if it is too late for that, and she gets the bikes in the settlement...drain the oil, replace it w/ Karo Syrup and ride the bike over for delivery With A Police Witness.

Luck to ya, Bro.

Sorry to hear about you situation, but please don't try this old trick. The settlement will be based on the Fair Market Value of the bikes, not what you sold them for. I went through this with a Camaro with a 350, Holley carb, racing trans, etc. Very nice drag car but only worth KBB value of a stock camaro to the court system.

Your hair will grow back....But once a crazy bitch always a crazy bitch. I was there myself just last year. I found comfort in beer, bikes and blonde bimbo's. Its healing process. Good luck man!

If the clerk of your parish court keeps records online, you can go to their site and do a public records search by your last name. Any action filed against you will appear.

Once filed, you have to be served or noticed. Otherwise, it isn't real. She can't divorce you without you knowing it.

For all your support. So far so good. STill living in the same house, still paying for all her shit. I guess the division of my wealth will soon commence. Expensive but worth it!!

Living together in the same house...........?

Yup, the same house. She's been sleeping on the sofa for 2 years or so. No yelling or throwing stuff...just odd, defiant behaviors.

Bummer dude! It'll pass..... It took me a while to get back on my feet as well. You got the brotherhood to support you, don't be a fraid to ask for it. Send a PM if you don't want to put your dirty laundry out for all to see. And on the other hand, there is some adviced that has already been posted that'll keep a smile on your face while your going down that rough path.

thanks man! Moving out next Friday, still looking for a fridge.

Here's a funny....had to go to the "orientation" class yesterday. About 40 men and women were in attendance, all with glum faces and questions about the process. Wifey wasn't there. During questions and answers I raised my hand. I asked the known manhating facilitator "what if the stbx is in a same sex relationship?" She looked really uncomfortable but muddled through an answer which took about 15 minutes. All eyes were on me for asking the question. Wifey would have shit her pants had she been there.

The situtaion doesn't apply to me, I just wanted to plant a seed with the facilitator.

Evil or not?

I'm yucking it up for a while. $$$ coming in a hurry though. The gal that answered the question is the same gal that will be making a recommendation to the court about where the kids go and for how long.

Idle time is like crack to my brain, nothing good comes out of it. That's why I should prolly be riding.
