This was in my car not on a bike... He was somewhere around Laplace headed back towards baton rouge when a driver who was either extremely distracted or possibly eating while driving came across the center median of I-10 and across opposing traffic when my dad hit them "T"-bone style at about 70-75mph... (the other guy of course is at fault)... He had to be air lifted from the I-10 by Laplace to the hospital in BR. My BMW is apparently totaled and my dad is in the ER at Our Lady of the Lake.... I just got home from visiting him... hes ok but has bruises all over and 4 fractures in his spine.... he's not paralyzed but wont be able to walk for a while... He's still in the hospital and in a lot of pain but hes alive and seems to be in pretty good spirits considering....
Everyone be careful out there, be it car or bike...
Will post some pics up soon as I know where the car is and talk to the insurance adjusters and all....

German Engineering!!!!!!! Glad to see it was put to good use in this instance. Hope he is recovering well, but from the looks of the car it could have been allot worse for him.

Glad to hear he's recovering, but how come he was in your car? He doesn't have a car?

We traded cars (but since the cars were worth equal values we never traded on paper so I am/was the legal owner of that car still... but now since progressive already cut me a check, progressive is the proud new owner of a smashed up BMW.)
