I got a call from Mr. 950 Adventure at 8:30 A.M. this morning

Mr. 950 "you going riding today"
Me "hadn't planned on it .. had a rough day on Bourbon St. yesterday"
Mr. 950 "where do you want to meet at"
Me "Come by my house in an hour"

I went to Bourbon St. yesterday morning .. got so drunk (three hurricanes before I left Pat O's) that I don't remember driving home .. woke up around 11pm and had a few beers to put me back to sleep (around 3am) ...

if I didn't get out of bed for riding .. nothing would awaken this evil spirt .... alas .. I made the right choce ....

these pics were after a short gravel road through some cane field a buddy of his farms ... nice gravel ... it got my attention!

at this stop I learn and make it a point to take my wife here someday for vittles ... I hear they have huge ass beers also ....

My camera baterries crapped out on me here so I could just hit "power on" and prayed that the pictures would come out ...

I never go riding "south" of Baton Rouge .. now i'm going to start!

All the roads I road today were new to me ... I had never ridden River Road ... I had never been to Kraemer, Houma, Vacherie, or Morgan City. I think we even stopped at Bayou Pigeon ....

Had a great day riding .. put over 250 miles (90% interesting) on the Strom .... and didn't go to far from home ...

Craig, that's where I wanted to go riding yesterday. But no, someone had had to go and drink on Bourbon Street! Looks like a kick ass ride, and who was on the KTM?

I went riding with a local from Gonzales ... he doesn't own a computer (maybe he is a super computer hacker who will get arrested if he touches a keyboard) ... but he rides all the time .. he is riding to Alaska next year ....

Kewl Guy, he has a KLR also ....

Thanks Doug, it would have been alot better if I would have charged my camera batteries recenlty ... there was alot of pretty scenery ...

But I have to work .. this is the first Mardi Gras we are open since I have worked there .. FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Richard-- Randy whats the difference--tell him i said let you off work because you can bring that jacket to me and sell it to me and make money for the store--hell i never get over that way and i need that jacket you showed me a pic of

I wasn't but now I will!

These tires only have about 4k on them ... still feel round and have lots of tread ... did me well on the track, and to work, and on gravel ......

a little bit of trivia here .. Mikey sold me my first set of Metzler's MEZ'3's on the Monster and I have been hooked on Metzler's since :)
