I'm going to ride down to New Orleans to have dinner with fellow DSRL'S Jay D and Lone Horn. Looks like the place of choice will be Fox and Hound. I will be leaving BR about 6:30. Anyone interested in tagging along post up.

The last time I did this shot, I was at least an hour and 15 minutes shooting different exposures, apetures etc to get it just right
So it's not something I even want to do for myself with my BMW
FWIW, I don't even break out the big camera anymore unless it's a wedding........................................... .................................

My wife was wise to make me turn around, she was actually crying in the car it was so bad! Remember, this was the storm that sparked all the tornados around Morgan City, Thibodaux and Houma. If I remember correctly, there was several deaths involved with the storm. Any time my heavy ass Avalanche is being blown around on the road, it is time to head the other way.

You can bet money on it though this time, I WILL BE THERE!

I wasn't trying to pressure JayD into the picture, I just thought it might work out ok. He is the photo pro, not me. I am lucky to have the chance to have him shoot my bike. If it comes out 1/2 as nice as the original I'll be happy as a 30 year old virgin in a whore house!

Ted, give me a call and let me know if you are done putting the 750 back together or if you are driving your truck tonight. I will be leaving East Jefferson hospital in New Orleans around noon. After washing my car and bike I'll be ready to leave or have a little pre-meal ride if you like.

I'll be in the truck. The 750 is in parts scattered all around the state and the GS is being serviced at Heberts. I don't think I can get away with screaming the dirt bike all the way to Elmwood!
