Hey, maybe he could get more for it if he painted it orange,
put a Rebel battle flag on top of the tank and called it
"The General Kawasak-Lee" ;)

Yeeeeee Haw! :D

I have a 1977 and a 1980 kz 1000. I bought the 1980 out of the crate in 1985. I'm Not interested in getting rid of them anytime soon. I got a buddy that has a 80 that needs restoring if you are interested?

It has 32,000 hard miles on it. It's all there but needs today restoration. The bike has been sitting untouched & uncovered in the elements behind my Buddy's machine shop in Houston for the past 15 years.

Beautiful bikes. Thanks for sharing.

The ole KZ was a modern machine and It was years ahead of it's time. Thats where the motorcycle craze started for me. My first bike was a 84 KZ 700 or was it a 750? Shit, that was long ago. It was all Black with the Orange stripes........

That is old School baby-Girl. I love anything that has a motor and is not of this time. The KZ was the modern sport bike of the late 70's and early 80's. I can remember being a kid and seeing those machines for the first time. That is the era where it all started for me. I had quite a few of those old bikes over the years.

Why in the world would you want that Juice?

I had a kz-650 back in the day. It ran good, and was fast in it's time.
