Just got home from the wedding in Poolville, TX. We took an extended route home through Houston to pick up the latest addition to our vehicle list.

Mona's 2003 Buell Blast. She already put a couple miles on it around the meighborhood. I've never seen one with a sticker package like this. It's really clean and only has 1810 miles on it. She's happy as a clam.

Congrats, Cool little bike.
I got a whole new respect for the Blast!
after watching what Bubba Blackwell could do on even a stock one!
First pic is Bubba's modified Blast! Second pic is a bone stock Demo the Dealer used for Rider's Edge and loaned us for BattleTrax...

I just insured it this morning. I'm going to try to stop by the notary today or tomorrow to register it. She's got to get to the DMV to take the written test and get her endorsement. After that, she's just got to take her time and get used to riding on the road. Her biggest concern is traffic. I'm going to start her out slow in the neighborhood and around town and work up to the Jones Creek Rd area. Hopefully, by that time she'll be ready for Baton Rouge and vicinity.:)

Thanks all.

What a weird bureaucracy y'all have down here. asdf

I had to have the lady I bought the bike from scan a copy of her driver's license and Email it to me so I can prove to the notary that the people actually live in Texas and didn't move here and not re-register the bike prior to selling it to me.

If she hadn't done that I would've had to pay tax twice. First to register the thing here in her name and then to register it in my name.

Oh well. Now I know what to do for next time. qwer

Yeah I just registerd my GS yesterday and I had all that crap. Its good to go over all the crap you need a couple of times just so you don't blow your load when you get to the DMV. Have faith, and I agreed its kind of stupid... but hey it keeps you from paying taxes twice!

Thanks all.
