I just received this at work. I'm going to be out of town or I'd be in the procession or on the street.

With a son in the Army and a Daughter and Son-in-Law in the Air Force, this is a close hit.

Cpl. William J. Crouch, 21, US Army, Zachary, LA, 8,9 June 07 ----- from coltergeist

Cpl. Crouch's plane is grounded due to weather at this time. Friday night escort mission from airport is indefinitely delayed....

The CAO advised that the service Saturday may be bumped also if the plane can't reach Baton Rouge before daylight tomorrow morning. Apparently a very bad weather system on the east coast.

Everyone needs to check this thread periodically for updates.

Keep in mind, please, that our frustration with delays is nothing compared to the family's pain.

We will continue with the mission as soon as we know a definite ETA for Cpl. Crouch.
