If you've read his book "Ghostrider" it brings a great insight into his life and what part motorcycling has played in it. It's right on my shelf next to "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance." Both books will have you longing for a ride.

Blade, I saved that copy of Cycle world too!

JayD, I'm just glad they made it available on-line :)

And the "Burning for Buddy" album they make reference to; BUY IT!!!
The best drummers on this planet take turns playing Big Band tunes as a tribute Buddy Rich. Plus, the bass player is a local; Chuck Bergeron of Baton Rouge, LA. I had the privilege of playing under Lee Fortier in the Broadmoor High Jazz Ensemble with Chuck, and he always said he wanted to make the "Big Time".
Well, I'd say he made it!

Cool. Rush is one of my favorite bands. I was listening to one of their CD's this morning. "Red Barchetta" is my favorite. Neil was my idol when I was young because I played the drums for 8 years.

Motorcycles are a good distraction when you are stressed. Like Neil, one of my riding buddies also lost a child and took to riding (feverishly) to distract himself from the pain.
