Well I'm about to go on my annual vacation to New England and I'm taking the DRZ up with me (Taking it in my Truck; I'm not crazy enough to ride it). Before I leave I had to do some Set-Up work

As with all Stock Dual Sports the Suspension is no good unless you're a teenager or the average Japanese man; so out went the stock spring and in with a New one from Race-Tech, I even got the Race Sag set perfect dead nuts on Cool12

Check out that sweet new Regina Z-Ring Chain! You can just barely see my new IMS SuperStock Pegs I put on too, these are very Nice. I also put the MSR +1" Shift lever on too, good for us guys with big feet.

StuntMan was running some Moose CR-HI bends but those just weren't high enough for me so I put a set of TAG X5 YZ double Hi bars on. Purrrrfect!

The ProGrip 796 Firm grips are pretty sweet too.

The fellas on The DRZ board say the stock Cam-Chain tensioner is failure prone, so I put on this trick Manual one. And some CRC/TT case savers

I still need to upgrade the forks and add some Radiator Protectors, that'll come soon enough I needed some tire $$, hopefully those will be here by Wednesday and I can spoon them suckers on before I leave on Friday. I got a Pirelli Scorpion Pro and an MT-18 on the way DOT and agressive as hell.

"Take me to the Hills now!!!"

I read on Thumpertalk that a good performance upgrade for the DRZ400S and SM is adapting the KLR650 carb to it. There is a stickied thread there describing how to. And if you're interested, there is a guy on www.klr650.net that is selling one. You could probably get it for somewhere around $125. Here is the thread on Thumpertalk:
