You people should do like the Atlanta ADV guys. You should make one never-ending dinner thread. I enjoying reading up on the Thursday night scene. I think that the format would be a lot better if it were all in one post. Just think ten years from now, you could look back and remissness on the 2000 + pages all those great Meet and Greets. Just my $02. Discuss?

I really like that idea. I for one thoroughly enjoy the Thursday night meet and Greet. Here lately the participation has been way down compared to last season. I think it worked much better when we visited the same venue every week. That way the people who did not ride knew our final dinner destination and were happy to join us. I really liked the cathouse but once they lost the house band, I lost interest in the place. What do you other Thursday night regulars have to say about this? Any ideas?

I kinda like the idea of new places to ride and the variety of going to different restaurants. Granted, to make the Thursday nights is always at least a 200 mile trip for me anyway, but I certainly welcome evenings like yesterday and the ones where we rode to the northshore. My vote is trying to attend a regular place, but on occasion, ride to New Orleans, or Lafayette, or down the bayou for a change of pace and scenery.

Do you guys think that a weekly Meet and Greet is too much? May every other week?

Hell No! The Thursday night ride is what helps me pull through the work week.. I know I get to go ride with friends, meet new, and get a bite to eat.... I like it every week... I like variety, but a reg. place would be cool. I remember walking in the Cathouse and people where happy to see us... excluding the 40yr virgin and the other drunk ass!

Yea, I agree with Kev. If we go down to every other week then that eliminates me down to once a month. That's just not right.

I have been enjoying the every Thur night myself, but I do like the variety of changing venues. I think my ADD might have something to do with it! But I am pretty open as long as I get to ride.
