Sounds like good advice. Then when you sober up, go on a long road trip as suggested. It will give you time to clear your mind.

Be positive about it. I've changed jobs several times. Every time, the new job was better than the last. Looking back now, I'm glad that it all happened. I made more $ by changing jobs every time, and the experience made my resume look much better.

Holy crap that's funny Ben!
Greg I thought you worked for your mom?? Where did you work and why did they lay you off? You know anything about A/C repairs and service? My co. is hiring techs.

lol you are one job behind... my mom had to retire due to illness back in march... I've been working as the office manager of a psychiatric hospital's outpatient clinic in lafayette since...

Thanks for the offer but I know nothing about that and I'm still in Lafayette :P

I know... for now better judgement has a hold on me... I've been trying to save up for a cruiser so I can do some cross country riding and then wham get laid off... oh well maybe it was meant to be... but regardless of how far... lets still ride! :)

Dood, You do no want a cruiser if you have future visions of cross country travel. Cruisers suck at long distance travel because of body positioning. It outs a lot of strain on your lower back. I have seen guys on sport bikes replace their stock clip ons with motocross bars and hit the road.

Cruisers can be good for long distance travel if you don't have forward controls. I have a Valkyrie cruiser... did a 750 mile day once without any problems. Have been on multiple 300 mile trips also.

It's the forward controls on most cruisers that kill long rides.
