Hi I am David. I am the guy in Germany in the Army. Just wanted to say hi and tell everyone about the trip. The other guy in the pics is Cem Doogan. Is the General Manager of the #1 Yamaha dealer in Germany. I met him when I first got here in July and we hang out alot. The roads in Germany are CRAZY!!!! There is no speed limit on the Autobahn's out of the city so you can stretch your bikes legs before hitting the smooth country mountain roads that are only 15 min away! The pictures you see were above and between Marseille and Tulon, France. About a sixty mile stretch of road called heaven. After three trips to Deals Gap, Tennessee I thought there was no topping the Tail of the Dragon. Yes the Dragon is the most intense 11 miles ever created but the constant mountain roads in France, Germany is unreal. Those pictures are nothing, I wish I would of took more but to busy burning up a new Michelin Pilot Power tire! If you can't make it over here, Deal's Gap is the greatest. The trip was 800 miles in 5 days. We are going to Switzerland and the Czech Republic this year. I look forward to talking to everyone on the sight and thanks for the invite.

Man it is nice. There is 600 year old castles everywhere. The is a big university here so the downtown area is great. Lots of food and coffee shops and small pubs. I will post some pics when i get home from work of the city, car shows and ski trip. This place is great.

Danke Doug!!!
No I have not been to Nurmberg ring. I have been and riden on Hockenheim were the F1 races. It is 15 min from here. They have open practice on Thursdays. 20min for bikes and 20min for cars. It is very crowded though. I am getting licensed in April to ride on Mondays much safer! It is cool to watch people go out and abuse these 150,000 to 1,000,000 dollar cars. Ferrari's, Lambo's, Porsches is nothing to see here. I am going to MOTOGP with my friend in the Pics at Nurmberg. He gets them free throught the dealer with VIP passes, I can't wait!
