So in response to the poll in the other thread there seems to be a few people interested... Unless there is a good reason for it... I think Lafayette's Meet n Greet should be on a night OTHER than Thursday night as not to conflict with the BR one so maybe people can make it to two of em... But since this thursday isn't one in BR lets plan one in Lafayette...

I'm open to venue suggestions but lets start with the default as Hooters if no one has any better ideas... Buffalo Wild Wings has steered away from being biker friendly after an incident that happened there so thats out..

But as a suggestion... who is available for 7pm tonight Hooters on Ambassador Caffery?

For the out of towners who may want to come, if you are on I-10, exit at the Ambassador Caffery exit (#100) and head south (thats a left off the exit ramp if you are coming from the Baton Rouge side)... go straight for about a mile and you will see a Sonic on the right... right after the Sonic the road splits... stay to the right in the split to stay on Ambassador Caffery... Hooters will be about a mile and a half up on the left hand side. Its across the street from Walmart.

Please post up if you would be available to make it tonight...

Potential.

I've got some packing to do for heading out of town tomorrow evening, though I may be able to swing this one.

(And, I just lateralled to a different department and boss who doesn't see the joy associated with last minute 5pm meetings.)

Aite well theres not enough interest in this nite so lets strike this one...

Does anyone have suggestions on a good day of the week and/or good location in Lafayette for this?

I'm thinking Tuesdays.... Hooters for now until we find a better spot... If we can tentatively agree on a date of week lets go ahead and set one up for next week...

I ate there with my parents on our way back from the Tabasco Plantation and it was fairly cheap and pretty good.

Mulates is good in general... usually very crowded though and I don't know how motorcycle friendly they are... I'm willing to give anything a shot though :) (and harder to find/get to off the interstate)

yeah... check out the other thread ryan I think we are going to try to have it Tuesdays... does Iron Horse have real food too or just a bar? That would be a fun place for a meet greet and eat if they had food
