Looking to get a music/cell phone/possible two-way communication (a bonus, not a requirement) set-up for Roxanne. Any good systems or home-made rigs you have or have seen?

Chatterbox is a piece of shit....
I've had and still got a Starcom unit - Dirk is fixing to try it out. It's good if you are gonna do a lot of rider to passenger talking and music is good; but I have since upgraded.
I'm now with Ted, the Autocom Pro 7 is what we have. Autocom discontinued this model (pro 7) for this year, but the units they still have are great.
The cool thing about the Autocom or Starcom is that you can either have it wire to the bike or they can run off of a 9v battery if you swap bikes. TO get the bike to bike set up will run you extra. You will have to get a 2 way radio and then all of the interface cables.

I presently have the GPS/XM and my cellphone interfaced. The cell interface works great ! I answer the phone and it mutes the other audio. When Judy is onboard, we both can talk on the phone. Next item is to get the new bike oriented VHF/UHF/AM/FM Yaesu ham radio for interbike and repeater usage.

I have tried pretty much every option, but if you really want to enjoy a system you have to go with J&M headsets in the helmets. J&M has multiple options for bike audio, but this is the system I am currently using on the 1200GS:

It allows multiple options for inputs and has a built in FM radio. It also provides the two way communication without having to wire anything to the bike.
