No more R6 :(

So... I bit the bullet... R6 is gone... new beast is here... bad pics cuz its in the garage and I didn't get it home until after dark... but I'll take some better ones tomorrow... Its a NEW 2006 Honda VTX1300S.. (they had a new 06 they were making a better deal on then the new 07s)

LOL I don't think anyone saw it coming.... I WILL have a sportbike again in the future... but since i'm not one of those canyon carving junkies or track junkies... it isn't super practical now... optimally I woulda liked to buy this cruiser and keep my bike... but I'm too broke for all that...

I like it so far... has a very neutral riding position, not a super layed back one... it has floorboards so if i move my feet to the back of the boards its like being on a standard/dual sport bike in terms of seat position, but when my feet are all the way forward on it they are stretched out...

Congrats on the bike. You should check out Memphis Shades for a windshield. I rode a VTX1800C for a while and was very happy with Memphis Shades. In fact I had one on my 750 Spirit as well.
I used to be the President of the MS VTX Riders Assoc., and many of the riders in the club went with Memphis Shades also.

sweet! and yeah memphis shades looks like what the majority of people recommend... Friendly and a couple people also recommended some "switchblade" ones which the screen you could just snap off without any tools to ride without one which was kinda cool :)

They have this shop in lafayette that has a bunch that I'ma check out on tuesday... gotta get a screen fast cuz when your going 90 on the interstate it feels like you are laying in bed with a 100lb weight on your chest heh... but I will have one soon...
