Help me pick which exhaust to get...

I'm not really looking for a huge performance gain... more sound/looks... the stock one is way too quiet... I'm a big supporter of the "loud pipes save lives" slogan so I need something a bit louder then stock... So I've knocked it down to 5 choices (well 4 different pipes, one of them in 2 finishes... please vote on the poll which you like best in terms of looks/fit/finish.... pics below:


The Arata shows the highest HP gains (7-9hp), Laser and TaylorMade are about the middle (around 5-7hp)... the Yoshimuras are only a 1HP gain...

The Yoshimuras are also $200 cheaper then the nearest competitor... (the stainless is about $275 and the Ti one is about $340).... Laser and TaylorMade are around $500... and I believe the Aratas are around $500 as well but still waiting on a price on them....

Yeah I had a Micron on my R6 that I loved... the one for the CBR looks really wierd tho... Theres 2 styles... one looks like it sticks out too far the other just looks really wierd...

lol of the few I posted yes... cuz I know they are all much louder then stock... as far as sound clips I find they are really deceptive...

theres a pic of a taylormade on my almost identical bike... and heres what he said about it "I have the TaylorMade and LOVE it! It has a nice rumble at low RPM's and screams up in the high RPM's. Taylor made also send me a map for my PC3 and it kicks butt. Not sure pf power gains, but the seat of the pants dyno says they are there. Looks awesome too!!"

lol I've seen some complaints about the Laser's build quality/fit but I just seem to keep going back to it because of looks... seems that everyone seems to like the TaylorMade... I kinda like it too... just sucks spending $600 on a slipon!

I've seen pics of it and it didn't really do anything for me thats why I didn't list it but if I catch ya around I would like to hear it :) It seems to be a common one on the CBR board (speaking of which through some of my searching on there I saw a few of your posts :) ) I figured it was popular on there because of the low price... *shrug*

Welp I did end up going with the TaylorMade... they are custom made to order so it took 6 weeks from the time I placed the order til I got it.... came in at 6pm... I got home from class at 8pm... midnight and I'm finally done with it... looks and sounds awesome! Was a bitch and a half to install and get lined up right tho :(

Yeah, I'm not sure if God makes a set of pipes like the ones he has installed on the red skirt but I like the finish, FLESH!

Oh and for the bike, Yosh with the little finisher piece on the end.
