1 Givi side case rack for mounting the wonderful new boxes I am making
4 Key lock draw latches and rubber seal which will finish the homemade boxes

in 2 weeks, I should have everything done and on the bike... gonna be awesome. Does anybody have a powder coating connection?...

These are the bags as they are tonight... I put the latches on but as you can see no rubber around the edges... why you ask... I didn't leave enough room and the lids won't go on the boxes with the seal in place.... long story short... the rubber is too big.. I hate when that happens... but after a good cleaning they will be ready to go on the rack wednesday afternoon.

well, the boxes are mounted and I have yet to find a nice day with some time off to take pictures... today I guess I tested their water proofyness and seems like they are doing swell... when I get some free time nd a nice day, I will get some pictures of these things

How much do you think you have in them now, $ wise?
They look pretty damn nice for a "garage" job. But where is the duct tape? Any time I do something like this, I always end up Duct taping something.

The Aluminum $120
The Welding (as I don't have the equipment to weld aluminum) $50
The Givi Rack $140
Hardware (latches and so forth) $50
Total: $360
Having a box that nobody else has... priceless

I am not going to make the ride Monday, I have to go into work. It's a holiday, but it will be somewhat quiet and I can knock some things out I have been meaning to get to.
