Looking for opinions on Smugmug. How easy is it to upload pics? Do you feel the service you get is worth the fee?

It's definitely worth the coin. You can pretty much use it as offsite backup for your pics. No limit on pics. Just on bandwidth used. Plus you contribute to the guy who gives us advrider.com for free.

The one and only Baldy. Support the site. Just like you buy a Tshirt here to help Juice out, you do the Smugmug thing to help Baldy out.

Smugmugs good but I prefer Pbase.com
It seems to load faster and seems to be more consistent IMHO

How many can you upload at a time?

How many can you upload at a time?

If you mean simultaneously, only 1, but it doesn't matter because uploading 4 pictures at the same time takes the same amount of time as uploading them one after the other.

If you really mean "how many can you select and have it automatically upload for you." Then the answer is "all of them." Seriously, I uploaded all of the pics of Mexico, one day at a time because they were in different folders. But it was like 100 pics at a time.

Another good thing about Smugmug is that you upload full size images and it generates small, medium, and large ones to share.

You can use the drag and drop method. Not sure if there is a limit but i have done in upwards of 500 MB at a time for my track day shoots.
