I'm looking for a good leather jacket for cooler weather. Any recommendations? I'd like to buy one here in B.R. or at least try it on for size.

I'm a fan of Cajun Cycles on Airline.
I'm not sure what they have in the line of jackets... but I did get a pair of pants from them. Unfortunately... I melted them on my pipes. Head Bang
I also got a helmet and a windshield from them... those are doing fine.

I have an A* that I picked up at Rad's and sold a FirstGear (that I really liked) that was simply a bit big (by about 2 sizes), though I might replace it sooner or later.

Hard to beat this for the price:

Has a removable quilted liner and a spine pad. You can add CE armor to the shoulders and elbows for $36. Can't try it on, but they're very good on returns to change sizes. They have a pretty good selection right now.

I have this one i bought from Friendly... Lightspeed has em too..

It's well vented with the zippered panels removed, with them in place and the liner installed, it made for comfortable riding in winter.. i wore a UA winter shirt under it when it was near freezing temps...

A buddy of mine has this jacket:

If I was in the market, it is what I would buy. They are true in their sizes and pretty heavy. The liner is effective as well. He and I rode around Ft. Payne, AL last February and he stayed warm. The venting works well enough that he has worn it through the summer in Atlanta.

I'm 5'9", 165. I usually wear a medium.
All those jackets look good. I especially like the ones that have velcro at the cuffs (helps keeps the wind out)

My Dad and a couple of guys he regularly rides with have the Vanson Leather Jackets; they do the bulk of their riding in the Adirondaks of NY and Green Mtns of VT (pretty cool year round). My Dad even crash tested his Vanson and it only made a couple scuff on the arm of the jacket; that was 3 or 4 years ago and the thing still looks new!
