Here is some videos from my 17 year old and my 10 year old races.
The first one is from Brunes Mill, Tx 2007. The second one is my then 9 y.o. at Powell Ranch in 2006 making his pass for second place and the last is my then 16 y.o. also at Powell Ranch racing in the schoolboy class passing a 250 rider after leaving scoring.

My oldest caught the other bike about half way thru the 1st lap and tried several times to get around him but the course was too tight and the other was just fast enough to stay in front until they hit the open section after scoring. The "C" line had started a minute ahead of his "D" or School Boy line. By the end of the race he had already increased the gap to where he beat C13 by 3 minutes. He finished the season 3rd in School Boy points and 34th in Overall "C" Class after only racing half the season.

Man it's a blast but I screwed up. Both of them out run me so I have to ride alone after the first mile or so. The oldest leaves me after about the first 100 yards. I used to follow his dust trail, now I don't even see that.

Don't feel bad. I had to fake a mechanical malfunction on my kx 100 motard to get the hell off of the track before my 9 year old lapped me.....qwer

It's hard watching those since I can't ride anymore. I just got a call from a guy who's buying my katoom. It's depressing. I was having such a good time up until last April.
(need a fast connection to play this) This was my last ride at Breezy Hill : http://www.southerntrailrider.com/Videos/APRIL07BH.wmv

Was that Forest Hills?
It's a bummer about not being able to ride anymore. I was looking forward to trying to find a time I could come over that way and let you show us around.

Those vids were taken at Breezy Hill, 45 miles North of Forest Hill near the town of Dry Prong. The trails are under construction but there's already about 30 - 35 miles marked and cut. It's all single track.

He had the 125 purring again this weekend and finished 3rd in 250 C and 9th Overall C.
Here is the start video. He missed the holeshot but not by much. The two other riders had a little better angle at the start but they couldn't keep the little 125 off their butts.

A little too sandy and dusty for my taste, no pun intended. Skull Creek is a mining operation and we race in some of the areas that have already been mined of marketable sand (or at least that looks like what they are selling) which leaves very deep sand everywhere. You either love the place or hate it, there is no real inbetween. I am one of the one's that hates it.
