BR to New Orleans Bike Night ride

Brian and myself are looking at riding to New Orleans Wed 3/15/06. for there bike night at the pit stop. Looks like one or two guys off the SLDR group will meet us down there. So if anyone is interested in going post up, and Chuck, Jiame, JayD, and anyone else if you want to meet us down there we could put some names and faces togethor. Looking at leaving somtime around 6pm, prob meet in Gonzales. We will iron the specific time by tuesday.

I am flying out to Boise, ID Wed morning so I won't be able to make it. Between the new house and work I haven't put more than 20mi on my since I hit the Laffy bike night with Juice and his crew when we got to watch some drifting in the parking lot... I am dying to ride and hope to make the next weekend ride or bike night when I get back or something...

I say we meet in Gonzales at the Shell across from Wendy's at the Tanger Hwy 30 Exit. That way eveyone can top off on fuel, get a drink, smoke, piss, fart, whatever... and we can leave from there. I would like to roll out around 6pm.

OK, who is going? Will this work? Post up and lets figure this out.

As of this moment Kevin and Myself are meeting at 6:00 pm in Gonzales right off I-10 @ the Shell station in front of the Tanger mall. Check the board tomorrow afternooon to confirm.

I'll check the board here before leaving from Houma, but I'll meet up with you guys in Gonzales. Once I'm on I-10 I can show you the way, but I only know how to get there on the interstate. Clearview will take you over to Jefferson where the Pit Stop is but Hooters is there on Vets. right by the Clearview intersection.

This will be the first time the GS has been out on the street since I got her back with the new rear shock.

I rode my bike to work today (little brisk this am), so I will be able to make the time for sure. I might even be able to make it alittle earlier. So if that fits with others we can do that. But as of now, 6pm at the shell across from wendys at the Tanger exit.

I figure I'll leave Houma around 2 or 3, take river road and enjoy the ride. So, I will probably be in the area earlier also.

Thanks Weave. The bike was ready a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't get in from offshore till a week ago and just picked up the bike and the new truck at the same time.

Yea, it was good getting to meet you guys! I just picked up the bike and am starting to thaw out. I did get a few pictures of some of ya'll but I'll take the time to download and post them tomorrow. I'm headed for bed. 388 miles today makes for a good night's sleep.

I should have gotten a phone number. I was able to get away, but when I got to tanger about 6:20 you guys had already left. I rode in alone but I have never met any of you so i had no idea how to find yall. I only saw like 1-2 dual sports.

Before the storm it was around 1200 usually at Pit Stop... I think the most ever counted was around 1500... did ya'll go to Mobil 1 after? there are usually around 200-300 sportbikes out there after pit stop... I was just too dead tired to stop by and I'da felt left out in the cage sorry I wanted to meet some of yall too
