Some of yall may have heard, I finally sold my 2002 Honda CBR954RR on 11/08/07 around 7pm.

Well a friend who works at the local Suzuki shop called me on Monday to let me know that the bike has been wrecked Bable12, they brought it in on Saturday! I thought "well I guess there have been quicker wrecks before."

So I called the buyer to see if he was ok and find out what happened. He said he was going down the street and wanted to see what it had, so he gave it some gas and shit himself when the front flew up. He laid it over on the right side but walked away.

He said he was only going about 35mph, so to me that means he rolled on it hard while in 1st gear Oops! What dumbass does this on a liter-bike? Well, come to find out, a 22 year old who has NEVER rode a bike before (other than his "friend's" bike a few times) is the dumbass that does that.

My first thought of there being quicker wrecks might have been incorrect. After speaking with him I now know that he wrecked the bike less than 2 miles away from my house the night of the sale!

This is the damage I saw at the shop: right Heli-bar is bent, bar slider/frame slider/front peg/Micron are ground down, the very back of the tail is ground down a 1/4", the right lower fairing is trashed and the clutch cover is cracked, BAD.

So needless to say, I won't need that photo on the leeve JayD! Thanks anyway.....

That's even quicker than when I tested the front brake a bit over-zealously at 124 miles on day 1. :(

It's like when you break up with a chick and find out someone is sack deep within 24 hrs..... You had it, you had your time in the saddle on it and you sold it. Life goes on Jason, I wouldn't fret! Just keep the GS shiny side up and you be good!

Hey, I've already had the non-shiny side up and it was still fun! I just hate to see something I put so much time and effort into trashed in 5 minutes....

at least you didnt have to witness it. the kid who bought my 636 dropped it trying to load it into the back of his truck. it took a pretty big fall, probably totaled the bike...

Would I ever steer any of you wrong, or lie.......qwer

The answer would be never.

I understand how heart broken you might be, the girl that bought my old ZX6R dropped it leaving the Suzuki shop. But I didn't get my balls in a knot. Just one of those facts of life.

I sold my truck to a kid that was 14 years old. It sat in his parents driveway for 2 months until he turned 15 and got his license. He drove the truck for one week and totaled it.

Poor kid.... he had to sit and look at it longer than he got to drive it.

SH*T happens. Live and learn.

I know someone who sold a bike and the squid looped it right after leaving the driveway, trashing it in the street!. Not even a 10' ride
