Spillway Ride March 25, 2006

Me and the family are going to spend abut 1/2 a day playing in the mud and ruts. We will be leaving Prairieville @ 9:00 am sharp. Anyone interested, post up.

I was hoping the 29th was a weekend, but it is a Wednesday right? Damn. I went yesterday and had a blast. The new trail area is open again. I spent all day riding that instead of the wide open area. Had a blast. Wish I could make it on the 29th.

Oh crap! I don't think I have anything to do... well pending me closing on my house Friday. But even if that happens I think I will go ride. I want to see the trail area since it has opened up.

Riding the trails was much better then the open area. Too bad track day is the 27th, so I'll be busy all weekend prepping the rocket for a day of tire shredding.

I might stop by, I still got the crappy street tires mounted up on my bike, so hitting that ATV area is outta the question for me. If it ain't too muddy I might ride some of the roads. Hopefully I'll be busy sending my Kart off and collecting some $$$$.

Saw a glimpse of a blue bike (overtaking me) with a rider attired in blue..was that you Mike?

Trails in back ok (lotta sand) I was hoping for hard pack dirt like they used to have years ago
4 wheelers have already rutted it up deep in 2 weeks :rolleyes:

Damn JayD I must have just missed you. I got out there about 1:00 and rode till about 2:30. Yeah the sand and damn quads.... but still a neat place to ride. I tried calling a few people to get your number. Didn't have any success. Oh well always next time. I logged about 250 miles today, and got my bike serviced. Anyone riding tomorrow?

Stayed on the northsore and rode the hog around. :cool: Nice day for any type of riding.

I am going to try to go to the spillway regardless tomorrow.....

I went to the Auto show with my buddies from work instead of heading out. Dissappointing to hear about the quads messing the place up. I definetly woulda been eatin' that sand with the tires I'm running.

I'll probably be out riding tommorow afternoon, not sure if I'll make a run down river road or try headin' up to the Northshore.
